Search For Chiefs GM Update 12/26
The situation around the Chiefs search for a new GM has been pretty quiet this holiday week.
That doesn’t mean nothing has gone on.
Chiefs Chairman of the Board Clark Hunt held at least one interview with a potential GM candidate early this week. The person and location of the meeting is unknown, but the process of interviewing and gathering information is very definitely underway.
As noted in our podcast with Fox-TV’s John Czarnecki on Wednesday (access here), Denny Thum the man who will soon be the Chiefs interim president and general manager is actively involved in the process of finding a replacement for Carl Peterson.

young is the only requirement in KC….it doesnt matter if you are any good. Young players, young coaches, young GM.
Who cares if the chiefs suck as long as they suck with young guys!
I had assumed he will have some experience in the NFL. I guess I should have said no old guy who want to return to pre-Lombardi days, run run run punt for field position. Yes young is good. All my favorite chiefs were great but I do not really want them back on the field.
PS Met Donald Trump once. He was a guest speaker and seemed pre-occupied with past wifes, not very impressive for such a rich guy.
