starting to wonder if KC is maxed on coaches.

maybe thats what Zach Thomas is currently serving as, they have said vet players would help teams that are maxed on coaches.

LJ will be fine – he is the type of runner that you have to keep feeding the ball to. Once he gets going its like running down hill for him. They took him out one play after he finally broke into the secondary. It is only preseason you don’t want to release the hounds just yet, especially if he is going to be carrying a heavy load this year. I can’t believe Childress kept AP in and worked him as hard as he did for a second preseason game – I bet he(AP) won’t carry the ball more than 3 times this week.

LJ may be a case of the best the Chiefs can put on the field . He has a fat contract that they probably cannot eat. He had skills but does not look strong now. To me, he look like he is done. What can the Chiefs do? Hope he can somehow provide something this year and trade him or release in 2010.

I heard that. For a guy who is supposedly happy and ready to tear it up, he sure is easy to tackle. On at least two different occasions during the Minnesota game defenders easily took LJ down with one arm. Watching the effort put out and the will to continue the play issued by Adrian Peterson and then watching LJ flop around is enough to make me sick. LJ has mailed it in ever since getting paid. I’d start Battle over LJ, at least Battle has heart and runs hard.

Who cares if he puts Bowe on the second team. He will get his reps and make his way back. Put Shawn Alexander on the 2nd team and let Jamal Charles play. I can’t stand watching LJ play anymore. Defenders looks at him hard and falls over.

The plan continues on schedule. When players are found lacking others are brought in to compete. The players have to fit the profile that fits the plan. We definitely need an upgrade on the line. I don’t see Marshall fitting the profile. Too much risk and too many problems. Players simply do not stop having issues because they move to another team. His issues are deep seated and are not just related to his unhappiness with his salary. Why would we want to inherit those distractions when we are trying to build a “team?” I think Rin’s on target with this one. The price would be too steep and Haley would not put up with his crap.

You got to love the fact Haley isn’t settling like our coaching staff did last year. He’s searching for ways to make this team better and thats what good coaches do. So i’m glad he’s not excepting the piss poor performance of the offensive line and even the receiving core for that matter. Hopefully we find a good mix to get us through this season to next year draft where we can probably pick up a guard, center, and another right tackle.

Bringing in competition on the o-line is a step in the right direction. Chiefs progress will be stunted by the o-line. If money is the issue, Hunts should have plenty under the cap with a remodeled stadium to draw in the fans.

Hey guys lets think a little on the positive side of things. As much as it seems like we are not doing anything productive we are bringing in new bodies weather there used and damaged or not, at least they are not content with trying to put blinders on in practice and hope against hope they will perform better against Baltimore day one.With the new regime, losing will be absorbed by them Hailey and Pioli, and henceforth that will leave losing at a non option.While I am fairly confident this wont be a super bowl year I do think you will see a positive difference.

Even with Marshall’s baggage considered it would still cost KC a #1, one of our 2 #2 picks & a #4 or #5.

Then, a suspension likely for him via NFL Commish Goodell if not later than sooner (and if not for past or present transgressions then for ‘future’ same he ‘will’ commit – it’s not a matter of ‘if’ rather ‘when’.

Then imagine an disciplined tolerating an undisciplined B. Marshall (use your imagination ’cause in reality ‘check’ would not- ain’t gonna happen.)

Terrell Owens would have been a headache whether it was or no, but Boldin? KC’s WR crusher ‘check’ now has a new object lesson named Dwayne Bowe; I wonder if Brandon might be able to help bring out of his understated shell?

If Brandon isn’t a concern then why not really go for the gusto – WR Chad Johnson wants out of CIN – let’s see ‘check’ tame that truculent tyke!

Chuck- That’s big , where did that come from .
Todd & Scott are starting to find a lot talent at all different places & can coach them up , but to take Brandon out of Denver will leave them looking for a new coach before it get’s any worse , if they can find anyone to clean up that mess .
Two new coaches KC & Denver One is like 5 star’s and the other is still trying to find the string that you pull to see if the bulb is out or not .
