Podcasting: Len’s Look 11/14
Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Len Dawson joins us for a discussion about the Chiefs, including discussion on the continued improvement of Tyler Thigpen, the play of the Chiefs offensive line and the defense and its goal of this week trying to slow down New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees.
As statistical note: Brees leads the NFL after nine games with 362 passes attempted. During his 19-year career in pro football, the most passes Len attempted in a season was 357 in 1967. That was over 14 games.

OK, When Lenny the cool says, in a manner of words, that Thigpen is the real deal, can we all put to rest the notion that the Chiefs need to spend a high draft pick on a QB? The remaining games of this season need to play out, obviously, but I’m already sold on who the QBOTF is for KC? Are you?
If not, take off the blinders, lose the skepticism, and take a good close look. “The guy” is already in the building. Nice interview Bob and thanks for it.
Man Len you’re the man. Keep help tutoring Tyler. I like it when young guys look to former hall of fame players for advice on how to be succesful in this league. YOu’re right Rich. There is no need to waste money or the high draft pick on a quarterback. Continue to build the offensive line and get a pass rusher (defensive end) and middle linebacker. Even though the line is getting better we still need to add some add better talent on that line preferably right tackle and right guard. But yea we do have a franchise quarterback Lenny’s right. This guy is playing far better than the #1 pick in the draft Russsell so why waste 2009 pick on a first round quarterback when you got a guy playing like the number one pick in the draft.
