- yes, it would have been really nice if Albert Haynesworth had become a Chief ‘check’, but you can find 22 guys to fill the void…any(where.)

“A team loses 125 to 150 pounds in a year, that would be a good average for a team getting back into shape. I’m happy with the way the team is starting to look and shape up.”

- is that including any 22 or just the biggest losers (management excluded, of course)

Even though Waters is here (which is a great thing) I still think it sounds like he wants to be traded and I wouldn’t be surprised if Pioli finds good value for him. Not sure that Darling is a better WR than Bradley, but Darling did manage to stay healthy last year, which was something he couldn’t do for four years in Baltimore. Maybe he’s ready to have a breakout year. God knows the Chiefs need more than a few guys to have a breakout year if they’re going to be close to competitive.

So Herm had our guys so incredibly out of shape that they’ve lost nearly 200 pounds more than the “average” amount according to Haley?! Clark should sue Herm for some of his contract money! What a freaking joke!

Darling is a more explosive receiver than he gets credit for. I’m willing to be that he’ll have more of an impact this season than Bradley.

Darling has more big play potential.

On the O-line Goff was a huge pick up. He was under rated in San Diego and I think he’s a great addition and his presence will help who ever plays at RT.

I know that some on here are concerned about hearing about Darling playing at the #2 spot but honestly guys, I would not put too much stock into what you saw from our guys last year under Herm Edwards. First off, everyone was apparently poorly conditioned and let’s face it…Herm Edwards wasn’t exactly an X’s and O’s genius or anything. Our schemes were so plain and boring and vanilla, the only chance we had of winning last year was if we could get our opponents so bored that they would have a concentration lapse.

Succop can drill em on a practice field, but it remains to be seen in a game situation. He sounds very promising, though. Lookin forward to seeing him in the pre-season. Barth better step up his game.

shocked to hear Darling being playing #2 receiver and now Mark Bradley. And has Succop missed a kick all summer everytime i hear his stats he’s either 7 of 7 or 5 out of 5. Also good to hear the defense is playing solid

Bob– What’s the prognosis for Dorsey? What is his injury and why is it taking so long to heal? For the amount of time he has been out, it sounds semi-serious.

Gonna have to figure out a way to grt some “stick-em’ on Bowes hands.

Impressed with Cox running over guys, but not that surprised to hear that Page was a victim.

Pollard bustin up long passes is good. I said before that Pollard is a stud, Page has not stood out to me the way others seem to think.

DJ making an interception was a nice change, the dropped one is par for the course.

Good to hear that Succop has Barth’s ass so tight that he could pinch the mercury out of a thermometer.

Little worrisome to me that DVD is lining up at the # 2 wide out??? I’m sure it’s just a temp thing.

RB Jackie Battle had a nice run against a defensive blitz, showing both power and speed. RB Dantrell Savage had a nice run on a draw play is good to hear.

I really believe Turk makes a good transition, he moved well for a DE last year at high weight…they are in shape, and seem fired up, this is exciting.
