Hali, Houston Fined By NFL

The NFL reached into the wallets of Chiefs OLBs Tamba Hali and Justin Houston because of their actions from Monday night’s game in Pittsburgh.

Hali was dinged for a $25,000 fine for hitting Steelers QB Byron Leftwich with his helmet, drawing a roughing the passer penalty.

Houston was fined $7,875 for being the ring leader of the Chiefs defensive dance routine in the end zone after he scored an apparent touchdown in the third quarter.

Pretty bad when the League has to step in because the team didn’t have the balls to address the celebrations.

aPauled, a little different view. If I had the power to influence the coaches and players, I would have already “dispensed” some correction. Not sure how it is handled in the pros, but I would have the players and coaches, run the stadium step until they all puked. That is called an attention getter. Then I would have sat them down and re-read the rules, then started practice.
