I happen to think that Bill Kuharich is going to get promoted on the Player Personnel side…

You have left Sundquist off the list. If not for Shanahan he could have built a good team in Denver.

    Brian Billick

  • December 26, 2008  - Chiefs Fan says:

Is that Jimmy Raye the same former offensive coordinator with the Chiefs under Gunther?

  • December 26, 2008  - jt says:

Bob did you feel the need to use every letter of the alphabet in compiling this list . Surly Vermeil & Jinny Raye wouldn’t be on anyone’s list would they. Steelers – Colts – Patriots are the only ones that cut overprice players for younger players.

  • December 27, 2008  - Chief TD Warrior says:

I think Herm has gone to the dogs. (rin tin tin)

  • December 27, 2008  - jt says:

If Kraft wants compensation for Pioli give them D Johnson . Why waste a pick it seems every czar Bob talks to says Pioli .

  • December 27, 2008  - Dusty says:

Get a proven winner, let him build a winner. Vermeil, Raye and some others are not what Chiefs need. Someone from a winner who knows how to do things right.

ron hughes is #1 on my list followed by marc ross. both of these guys are the college scouting gurus for there respective teams. hughes for pittsburgh, when those lose a vet they just plug in a rook and he plays great and ross for the giants, who during their superbowl year had every rookie drafted play a significant amount and play at a high level. these 2 should be the guys we throw money at. I don’t know why shottenheimer and cowher are even candidates…just because they can coach doesn’t mean they could run the show. Lets gets some guys in there that know what they are doing.!

  • December 27, 2008  - Jody says:

I like Pioli like most people, but also Chris Mara and Marc Ross of the NYG’s, the three guys from the Steelers, and Heckert from Philly. The great thing is there is more than a few good candidates.

  • December 27, 2008  - Tim says:

i like the gm marty and cowher as coach

  • December 28, 2008  - Jody says:

Lake was a WR with the Chiefs

  • December 29, 2008  - Devildog1976 says:

Lake dawson wore a red jersey, and that is about it.
You know if Bill Parcells (sp) leaves Miami we might as well try to get him to be the GM. If that goes through then let BP pick the coach.. we know he can do that look at Miami. Then we get rid of LJ and any other punk who doesn’t want to play hard. THEN maybe we can move forward. Wow what about …………….. Tom Osborne? he knows how to WIN. GO BIG RED !! and gold.

  • December 30, 2008  - jim lloyd says:

1976 , Your right about Lake and LJ plus !!!
Someone thats sharp , —-and thinks outside the box and has a lot of reasons to go head on with this divison !!!!!!!!!

    Mike Shanahan .
