What a class act, I feel proud that we have a player of his caliber still on the team showing the young guy’s the ropes. It would be nice to see him get the super bowl ring before he retires, just not sure it will happen. It has been fun watching him his whole career since he was drafted. It seemed like a lot of people at the time didn’t think much of him coming out of college, since he was a basketball player too. Guess he showed them just how good he really could be. GO CHIEFS!

Great so there will be a positive this week. Hopefully Tony doesn”t have to witness Thigpen getting his arms and legs torn off by the defense when he wins his award. At least TG can shed some of the embarrassment of being a Chief. Great career Tony. I am sorry that we stink. At least the Chiefs will make ESPN Once where Berman and Jackson are not laughing at us. Keep up the great work Chiefs,

Hey, we have a chance in about 5 years. I’m sure it would mean a lot if we kept him on the roster until then, kinda like the Steelers did with Betti when they won their superbowl.

Tony is one of the main reasons to feel proud of on this team. I want him to do as well as possible but I kind of hope he doesn’t get all 85 yards against Atlanta so he can break the record against the Broncos next week. Sharpe would probably come to KC to watch and congratulate Tony. (And it would be one ticket closer to avoiding that ugly blackout!)

Stephone Paige’s record was for most receiving yards in a game – 309 I believe. Now it takes us 3 or 4 games to get that many passing yards.

The only way he will see a championship is on another team and I’m not sure how rewarding that would be in the end. Spend all of your career on one team and then go somewhere else for a season to get a ring? Might be kind of anti-climatic.
