Defense was tired in the 1st and 2nd half for three reasons: 1. Multiple short offensive series to start game. 2. Blocked punt for TD gave defense NO rest time between Balt offensive series and… 3. Interception and quick score put defense back on the field QUICK. III. Defensive pressure needs to be better and our best CB (Flowers) was out and they picked on Legget ALL 1st half. Of course Baltimore will have more offensive yards and Chiefs more allowed more defensive yards allowed. Baltimore had TWO more offensive series than KC and KC scored 14 points with 7 yards of offense. Bottom line is that the Offense and the Defense (especially Legget) got BETTER against a team known for finishing a team off they could NOT stop us from getting better. II.
