FRI– little to late ,but Braddly would probably be fitting at safty . ( 7-4 high jump & 24 ft + broad jump ) WR covering WRs ?

Comment: Celestin is a journeyman corner who has spent time with five teams in his previous four years in the league after signing with Cleveland as a collegiate free agent after the 2003 draft. He did manage to start four games in 2007 thanks to injuries in Arizona’s secondary, but he lacks too many things to be considered starter material. He is not a great athlete and lacks premier top-end speed. He plays better the closer he lines up to the line of scrimmage and is almost a liability in coverage. He is aggressive to the ball and is not afraid to get involved, but struggles when trying to make tackles in the open field. He lacks top instincts and does not read routes very well. He has been a contributor on special teams in the past, but did not have much of a role on special teams in Arizona. Celestin is strictly a backup who can fill in as a starter in case of emergency, but teams are always trying to replace him.

Geez, we’ve become a safe haven for washed up DBs this week haven’t we? Seems we just can’t keep anybody healthy. Heck, does Dejuan Morgan even play on Sundays? Not much anyway and he STILL gets hurt. I know it’s too early to tell, but I think people should get off Glenn Dorsey’s back for a while and focus on Morgan as being the potential early bust of this draft class.

I don’t like our odds of winning this Sunday. Phillip Rivers will pick apart our banged up secondary all day. Their receivers are much bigger than these little DBs we’ve been signing. P-Riv just needs to float em up there and those big guys will go get it.

Sorry to be so negative on a Friday, but all of these injuries are really starting to irk me.

Silver Lining? If you’re going to have a spate of injuries, it’s better to have them on a 1-7 team as opposed to one sporting a 7-1 record.

If this guy plays Safety on Sunday were in big trouble! Looks more like a speacial teams move to me but it doesn’t look like he had much success anywhere else.
