Refreshing, someone posting and not bashing the team. I totally agree with the assessment of the state of the team. I too was six when we played in the AFL-NFL championship game in 1967. This is nothing compared to 77 through the 80's. May that never happen again.

This thing will turn around. These I'm not living in KC but I haven't missed a game yet. ANd these guys are improving. I don't think the Broncos game was a fluke we blew them out and I always say when you blow a good team out like that it wasn't luck or a fluke. That comes when its a made or missed field goal at the end of the game. Or a fumble or interception for a touchdown something like that. WE took it to those guys that Sunday. Young teams are just like that though they will give you flashes of excellence in one game then look bad in others. THis team has more talent than what I've seen since the days of Derrick Thomas, Neil SMith, Rich Gannon and Grabac. So I think we just need to excersise some patience. We're another good draft away and healthy good quarterback of course from being a playoff team. So hang in there everyone be patience it will continue to get better.

Damn Rich,
Quite deep foor a football fan, but I like it. I for one have been on this ride since SB IV when I was 6. As you can guess, I'm not going anywhere. Grab on to what's right, hope for progress on what can be fixed, and eliminate what is wrong. My hope is that the right peopleto make those decisions are either in place or comming soon. 'till then...GO CHIEFS and good luck.

I dislike it but a rebuild takes a long time. The style of rebuild of the chiefs could take a long time for UP. I hope there will be games they win along the way. But what is really needed is individuals showing major skills in a team sport. Who knows?

Before you can start UP, you first need to hit rock bottom. I didn't coin that phrase, but it seems apt about now for the Chiefs.

Will this be the week for UP or will it be a continued slide into the abyss? If you or I could answer that, we'd be millionaires touting outcomes of games in Vegas, no?

We've already witnessed a so-called, 'Fools-UP' against Denver as in fool's gold. I say that, because until we've seen a true upward momentum over more than just one game, none of us can know where the team's potential is on the expectation scale.

So, has the bottom been reached, the upward momentum a true measurement, or will the freefall continue? Things to ponder and keep in mind as the Chiefs welcome in Jeff and his Titans this weekend.

Somewhere in there is the near future of the Chief's franchise trying to let itself be known. Let's all try to key in on the indicators, shall we?
