Chiefs Release Camp Schedule For St. Joe

On Thursday, the Chiefs released their schedule of practices for 2012 training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

There will be a total 15 practices open to the public, including at least one under the lights.

The team will hold a walkthrough every day that it practices at St. Joe, but those will be closed to the public. Last year, those sessions were open but had few if any viewers because it was a lot of players standing around.

Weather will affect the schedule as well, as so might the Arizona Cardinals. The St. Joseph News Press reported Thursday that it looks like the Chiefs and Cardinals will spend several days together practicing during the second week of camp. Likely dates are August 7 and 8.

All practices but the Saturday, August 4th session are free and open to the public. That practice is $5 for anyone over three years of age. Missouri Western charges a $5 parking fee for lots in and around the practice field and Spratt Stadium.
