I assume they have an ILB and TE in mind or under contract?

I’d like to see them bring in a safety. Donald Washington appears to have improved this year but I have yet to see evidence of football instincts and a knack for the ball. If he sticks, hope he takes full advantage of the opportunity.

The practice squad should be pretty strong.

Must have some OL in mind as well…I think we’re down to the Starters + 2.

Becht was a announcer and Colbert a coach, I did not see either do much in the preseason. Light at NT. Powe better be a force with the first game because there is no one to help. OL is not impressive

Becht is 6-5, 270, essentially an offensive linemen with decent hands; he could really help the run game as well as helping out the tackles in the passing game. By all acconts, Colbert looked good in camp, although we didn’t see much of him in preseason games. Look at it this way, el cid, maybe the year or two out of football gave Becht and Colbert time to heal their bodies from the rigors of the NFL, leaving them in good condition for this season.

Gregg and Powe should be good rotation at NT. Most NFL defenses play a high percentage of time in nickel defenses now, with only two D linemen in the game. Let’s hope that’s true for KC, too, because that means you’ve got the offense in 3rd and 5-plus.

I guess they will be well rested. Only thing I see positive about those two.

Powe better be ready because there is nobody to follow him.
