We’ve only been to one preseason game and that was after the remodling was done. Didn’t want to waist serious tailgating time to gauking around. We normally donate the tickets to Big Brothers/Sisters. And then, shamelessly, use it for a tax deduction. NFL making fans pay for preseason games is like airlines charging a fee for carry-on luggage. It just sucks.

So, no nationally-televised games for the Chiefs in preseason. Drat.

I am anxious to see what TV-games KC will get for the regular season, if any. In 2011, I was thrilled that KC had prime slots with SNF (Pit), MNF (NE, SD), and played AFC-East (featured locally here.) KC lost in staggeringly abysmal fashion ( 23-143 ) to Buf-MIA-NE-NYJ, and lost to Pit as well. This does not reassure those who allocate the TV-game prizes.
