Chiefs Blow Big Lead & Get Blown Out Of Playoffs

It’s hard to believe it actually happened, but any Chiefs fan that watched Saturday’s AFC wildcard round game against the Indianapolis Colts will never forget what they saw.

Andy Reid’s team played a strong first half, built a 21-point lead that they pushed to 28 points early in the third quarter. From there, the Colts came back under the direction of QB Andrew Luck and finished up with a 45-44 victory in one of the greatest comeback victories in NFL history.

The afternoon against the Colts had many ups and downs, twists and turns, but in the end, the outcome continued the franchise’s post-season losing streak to 20 years. Here’s our coverage:
