Chiefs Are Busy On Practice Squad Moves

Three players gone, three new faces for the Chiefs on their practice squad with moves they announced on Tuesday.

Off the developmental list are WR Fred Williams, FB Toben Opurum and TE Jake Byrne. Williams was released, Opurum was signed to the active roster of the Houston Texans and Byrne was poached by San Diego and signed to the active roster.

Added to the practice squad were RB Eric Kettani, WR Jerrell Jackson and LB/DE Ridge Wilson.

Kettani (6-1, 233) has spent time with both New England and Washington. He played his college ball at the Naval Academy where he ran for 2,091 yards and 15 touchdowns over his career.

Jackson (6-0, 192) played at Mizzou and has spent time with Houston, Jacksonville and Chicago. With the Tigers he caught 113 passes for 1,434 yards and 6 TDs.

Wilson (6-4, 256) was with the Chiefs in the off-season and through training camp, before being released on the final cutdown. He’s out of the University of West Alabama and is a native of Louisville, Kentucky.
