The Chiefs charter flight out of KCI on Saturday afternoon included another tight end on the roster as they promoted Dominique Jones from the practice squad.
Jones is 6-3, 270 pounds and has 10 games of NFL playing experience with Indianapolis in 2012-13. He has 3 catches for 42 yards. Jones was signed to the Chiefs practice squad on October 30th.
His promotion was due to the status of starting TE Anthony Fasano who has not been cleared to return to the field after suffering a concussion in last Sunday’s game. He’s already been declared out of the game against the Redskins.
To make room for Jones, the Chiefs released WR Chad Hall.
