I am trying to be good for Christmas so I have been ignoring posters like Rin Tin Tin, but really True Red & Gold do you not have a hard time going to work spending all your time on your knees. That will cost me a really big package.

Comments are not "closed". Just a glich I'm sure. You don't create a site like this and close comments. That's what develops readers.

Not sure I understand the statement to retain the defensive staff at this point. I guess he was just trying to end those questions early. Doesn't seem like good management though. I would think everyone would be evaluated at the end of the season. If he is believing that the coaches are doing a good job, then he may have blinders on. It can't just be the players at this point. He needs to state that everyone is evaluated at the end, including himself.

Wow! the comments have become so stupid that Bob has turned off the comments section on his latest post (not that I blame him). I hope you guys are happy.

Bob, I for one apologize for the immature nature of your audience, but then we are football fans!

Comments are closed on Cup O'chiefs? WTF. Is everyone complaining too much? In the KC Star today Herm says the entire defensive staff will be back next year. You have got to be kidding. This coach and team and even the reporters that follow this team are so out of touch with reality it is crazy. By the time they play the Chargers in December, you'll be able to shoot off a cannon and not hit anyone.

A 242lb DE could help the chiefs?

HAHAHA!!

how pathetic has this team become? Dude would get mauled by even the crappiest tackles (i.e. McIntosh).

Dude might be worth a look at DE if he could add at least 20lbs. Other than that maybe worth a look at LB.

"Linebacker Derek Wake was one of the shocks of the 2005 NFL combine when he turned in a 45 1/2 inch vertical jump, the second highest of any player in attendance.

Yesterday at Penn State's Pro Day on campus, he was full of more surprises, as he turned in a 40-yard dash time in the high 4.4 seconds range, appreciably faster than his combine performance of 4.65 seconds." http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2005/03/03-18-05tdc/03-18-05dsports-01.asp

A Canadian Championship, one Clark's Crew too - but what Chiefs fans want most next Christmas aft, is but one of our own don't you know!

So, on Boerigter, on Casey on Zenon Andrusyshyn! On R-Kal, on Freeman on- WAIT A DOGGONE MINUTE, RIN CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!
________________________________________________

A one, a two...

"The Night Before Christmas" - an adaptation, by Rin Tin Tin (subtitle: "Tis Always Darkest Afore The Dawn". . . working title: "Comes A Superbowl Season")

Twas the day after Sunday, when all through KC

Chiefs fans were not happy "˜cause their team had played c....y.

The uni's were hung in the clubhouse with care,

Hopes a fandom they pled "comes reward ours...next year?"

Defeated they whined all snug in disillusion

With visions off-season of a talent infusion!

And Carl in 'kerchief, and Herm in his cap

And as usual the media...head start winter's nap.

When out on the market there arose such a clatter

Free agency nigh upon us - salve for what be the matter!

Away for to meet new draft cast soon Kuharich

Thum sharpening his pencils "“ price of busine$$ his niche.

The promise of a West winning title grown rare

Sign the times something different "“ sound of hope in the air!

When what to my swollen Red eyes should appear,

But a pass rush for the defense - and linebackers o'er there!

Add a little bit "˜O'-line power, and some youthful stamina,

Thence all knew in that moment "“ we be jellin "humina! (humina!)".

More rapid than an eagle our offense did travel,

Passes flew, runners too "“ "˜Chiefs win!' Holtus rattles!

Now Tyler! now D-Bowe! now Gonzo and Bradley!

On Albert! on Waters! Left to right wins the battle!

To the top of the heap football world best get ready!

Now go away! go away! ghosts 40 years past aplenty!"

The memories past seasons these will not linger

New Arrowhead is ours "“ 2010 renewed vigor!

Two months past December last year won't remember

Chiefs '09 hopes - better later than never.

And then in a twinkling, I heard on the news

ESPN machinating "“ "again the Chefs will lose!"

As I balled up my fists & prepared then to lose it,

Down the grapevine came word "renovation's finished we can use it!"

Concessions now completed, drinks & snacks access there

Now an all you can eat section "“ "˜cause fat Chiefs fans don't care;

A Gretz and a Whitlock nee a Hatfield & McCoy,

Stow that ego boys - don't wanna hear it no more!

His eyes - how they twinkled! his dimples how merry

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up - like a bow

And the smile on Clark's face - it was real was not faux!

The vision now realized where once was but static

As thots great did circle - no hint of pedantic;

He had a sated wallet and a happy little belly

That shook, when he laughed - he was makin' lots of money!

Was he non plus? No, not e'er - right jolly owner there

Rin Tin Tin just watched him - yelled "Lamar!" - my error;

With a wink of his eye and a twist of his head

Soon gave a thumbs up - turnstiles full, off to bed.

He spoke not a word, as he turned toward his suite

Aft filling all seats, he was really quite beat,

And laying his finger aside next his nose

He gave a nod and then up stairway he rose.

As he made his way there, to his team gave a wave

And right then fans doffed him - "hooray - we've been saved!"

But I heard him exclaim, ere he disappeared out of sight,

"We did it pop we did it - Chiefs are Champions again this night!"

Congrats to all the Calgary Stampeders for winning the Grey Cup this year. As for the help to come down from the CFL there is 2 players for sure that would probably be very good NFL players and both are from the Stampeders. The first one is the reciever Brett Ralph, he reminds me of a little bit smaller Wes Welker type reciever, excellent hands and yac and tough as nails.Very impressive in the middle of field with good speed and blocking.
The second one is Sandro DeAngelis the kicker for Calgary also. Very accurate and a good strong leg...i think his career stats line is a bout 88% or so for the last 3-4 seasons...nails long 50+ kicks consistently in bad weather and is very competitive.
I would love to see Ralph go to the Chiefs if at all possible next year. (not sure if he is a free agent this year or not and same with DeAngelis)I think he could pan out better then Marc Boerighter who unfortunatelly i think would have been a great reciever for many years in the NFL if he had not gotten the injury bug.
As for the current state of the Chiefs....nothing good about it obviously but i will still continue to cheer them on every sunday hoping for a victory for all the guys working so hard but not being able to buy a game due to injuries, bad calls, and what ever else gets thrown at them.
Heres to a better 2009 season.
GO CHIEFS GO

As for the current state of the Chiefs….nothing good about it obviously but i will still continue to cheer them on every sunday hoping for a victory for all the guys working so hard but not being able to buy a game due to injuries, bad calls, and what ever else gets thrown at them.
Heres to a better 2009 season.

; Possible Help For Chiefs?"

Untel we Change the Leaders/Teachers, more commonly known as GM/Coaches, this team is going no where.

We do need all the young good players we can get, but they too need the correct Leaders/Teachers to show them "How To Win!"
