Great addition to the Team it's one we really needed. It's surprising how he can create space in his routes while the other receivers find it extremely difficult. I don't think he's the fastest WR around so he must run great routes. Also, the DB/Corners aren't giving him the coverage he deserves. That will change after the Steeler's game but I think he'll still be a great weapon for Cassell. Also, he could of had a couple of TD's if Cassell would of lead him instead of throwing behind him. He had to stop, on several catches, which allowed the coverage to catch up with him. He had beat the coverage and had an open field to the end zone.
It is nice to see the Chief's playing with discipline and toughness. We've been in a lot of close games and all of us .. especially the Team and coaching staff ... are glad were winning them now. I'm almost at a point that I'll eat my hat because I didn't think Haley was up to the job. I'm starting to think that he is! The bonus is that we've almost got the right 53 ... just improve the O-line, get some depth at LB and BAM !

      ---- 3 Keys to a Chief's win---
1. Put pressure on Rivers
2. Contain LT and Sproles
3. No turnovers
We do these 3 things and we'll win the game

I hope Chambers lights up scoreboard, wouldn't it be great for our Chiefs to beat SD after the beat down they gave us a few weeks back.

From my view, Chambers is a cut above most Chiefs receivers. Even late in his career, he seem a step better than the others. Not sure but he may be a better option than Bowe. I do not know about WRs but with Bowe's lack of concentration at times, I thought he was a better #2 than #1.

Charles making Spe. Teams player of the week is great but Studebaker getting Def would have been better.

Bills, Browns, Bengals and split with Denver would make me a season ticket holder next year for the 22nd year.

One thing I have never seen --EVER-- is the picks on the pre-game shows hit 100 % on the money .
The second half of every season is NEVER close to the first half .
Starting tomorrow is like the beginning of a whole new deal , like the cards have been delt all over ! This is what makes NFL football the greatest game ever played ....
Try and keep track of every thing that is going on , and you find you know little more than what time the game is going to start .

The Pittsburgh game was awesome. It was the kind of game that makes a Chiefs fan look at the schedule and start dreaming of winning out and the Broncos and Chargers stumbling enough for the Chiefs to take the division. But then reality hits and we have to accept that this year will most likely be a losing year. They can't win out on the theatrics displayed in the Pittsburgh game. The amount of time that they had control of the ball was miniscule compared to Pittsburgh....and seems to be typical every game. That has to improve for many more wins to come our way. Hope abounds though....because if the Chiefs can build on this win and strengthen some key areas in the off-season then next year they could be something truly special.

Ok...enough of all that....GO CHIEFS....WIN OUT AND TAKE THE DIVISON....WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!

I'm not gonna go all 7-9 crazy, but I really don't think 5-11 or 6-10 is out of the realm of possibility. That's a whole lot better than I gave them credit for at the beginning of the year (4-12).

The Pittsburgh game was a nice surprise and I've been amazed at how they've somehow managed to stay close in a lot of these games.

I agree , and Matt is a large part ---- Passing a foot in front of catchable or 3 feet in back of his targert . Although at 18 to 25 yards down the middle he is leading his Recievers better . Hes getting there on some tough training grounds...

Chris Chambers is a good football player. The Chargers claimed they wanted to give the younger players more playing time. I don't buy it. Whatever their real reason was, it was an obvious mistake. He is a key factor in taking the Chiefs to the next level.
Our offense is pathetic only part of the time now, instead of most of the time. For the first time in many years the boys in red & gold now have a little swagger in their step & the belief they can compete with anybody. We may not be a consistently good team & we may not win another game this year, but we have finally seen the potential & true character of 53 men that we can be proud of.
Mr. Chambers has contributed his experience, talent & professionalism to a team lacking in all three. Somehow, when he dressed up in a Chiefs uniform, good things have been happening to our team. Whether it be luck or right place right time, or just my imagination, I can say this, he has brought excitement & confidence to our offense & to us fans. Priceless... you might say.
Welcome to KC Mr. Chambers.
Go Chiefs.

Buffalo, Cleveland and Denver twice--7-9 seems very possible, if not likely.
They still have to play the games but unlike some squads in years gone by, we can assume there will be no lack of focus.
Timing is a big part of it as well. Denver appears to be coming apart at the seams; their course correction will be hard for them but it is still possible.
Let's enjoy the ride and save the gloating until post season.

If 7-9 of the right win's include Denver & San Diego(twice) , this could turn out to be very -very intersting . Althou there would have to include a lot of "Ls" for S.D. or if KC won 2 more games on top , then it really would get things stirred up !!!!!!!!
It ALL starts Sunday , with Rivers and the key IS going to be two things ,don't let him have the ball much and taking Merriam out of alot movement on his part . (no dropped passes-KC)

Gretz refers in his article the CRAZY coach from kc keeping his players outside in bad weather for practices. We have 3 games in a row coming up in December where I will be suprised if the weather will be nice for all three!!!! Could have left off "CRAZY" remark but he had to throw that little snide remark in. Go Chiefs We have a legit chance of being 7-9 yet this year.

Love D. Bowe , but this could be an accident ready to go right...
45 or 87 finding Shawn M. & 89 - RB ! = ball control.
