If he gets cut, it’ll be part of the final round of cuts methinks so that another team will get a shortened evaluation period to conclude if he’s part of their Right 53 in order to have him.

I have to agree, Scott D. I think Thigpen is a good guy…and he did a decent job last year with what he had to work with. But, he just may be the odd man out.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – the issue between Croyle and Thigpen is that Thigpen does not do well in a pro style offense (evidence? The entire offensive scheme had to be altered last season to fit him!), and from what I’ve read from ALL the reporting sources, he hasn’t had that great of a camp so far. If Haley is installing a pro style offense, Thigpen may not be the guy you want to bring in when Cassell gets hurt. I’m not so sure that Matt G. wasn’t brought in to challenge Thiggy, not Brodie.

Brodie needs go go elsewhere if he is ever to see the starting position again. The Chiefs are really more or less done with him barring and unforeseen catastrophes.

So….are we replacing the Chiefs with Patriots rejects…one piece at a time? How long before we have an entire team of ex-Patriots? I hope they are looking at real talent and not just signing people just because they were Patriots. Not everyone on those Patriots Superbowl teams were great awesome players.

Brodie always had the arm and the talent but he misses the most important trait of playing quarterback which is avalibility. The guys has great talent anybody who followed his career knows thats why Herm and Peterson had so much confidence in him, but the guy can’t stay healthy. So unless Bob going to tell me he’s gained about 10 to 15 pounds of muscle to help his durability. I’m not going to get excited about his training camp practices. He’s done this every season then gets hit in a game and out for the season or misses half of it. Tyler still should be the backup more durable.

Like Brodie but he cannot take the punishment of the NFL size and speed. I would hope somebody would cut him loose if he is as delicate as his history says.

Al Davis was scoping out for discards to fill his roster. He is a genius in his own mind.

T. Jackson, just bad would it be if he held out until the season starts? Could he be valuable if he missed the training camp? Recent history (pre Pioli) says our luck with 1st round picks is not all that impressive.

Man I almost bit on the Croyle BS… He will start for Hayley when the dems puts a tax cut in. I like the Matt G. pick up also he showed alot of potential in college I think he could be a solid backup maybe even a starter someday.

Those Brandon boys are the truth. Carr and Flowers every day i’m reading about how one of those two guys are making big plays in practice. We might have the best young tadems of corners in the league. IF Herm didn’t do anything else right in this rebuild of his he left Haley some studs at corner.

Agreed, no problems with Rin, when its actually him its really not an issue.

Just stating that Brodie just cant take the hits…either that or hes REALLY unlucky. I guess Pennington has been able to piece together a career being fragile.

Sigh…Q Lawrence is really making it hard for me to support him…I figured KR/PR only…but if he cant catch punts 5 days in from the same punter….ugh. Cant even blame it on nerves…not sure what to blame it on…guess its hands.
