As for Croyle and it being too early to tell…its not, this is a QB who gets hurt without finishing a GAME, and now hes lousy in practice? Backup Qb’s have to be sharp in practice, we will see if it changes, first practice, yes, but Croyle is an injury waiting to happen.

“Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe had the first dropped ball of the day in an 11-0 drill. It turned out to be a trend for the remainder of practice.

Tight end Brad Cottam had two drops in a row when running routes against air about 20 minutes later.

Rookie wide receiver Quinten Lawerence had a drop in one-on-one drills.

All it takes is one. Don’t count Thigpen out just yet if the trend continues. The one way that Thigpen can nail down the starting QB slot is for MC to play his way out of a job.

I believe great coaches are NEVER HAPPY with the performance of their unit, especially day one of active camp.

Bob, if you know if Dorsey has the shin injury, or if he just is out of shape..or both, let us know, I read he was 30 Lb’s overweight this offseason from an article today via foxsports….yet this is news to me since Albert and Bowe were considered the weight issues.
