Everyone should be given a second chance, not that everyone is perfect like some people on here. If not why do you even get out of prison? Dog fighting is a southern thing that has been around for a long time, doesn’t make it right, but at the same time, I wonder would he have went down as hard if he was funding a cock fighting operation??

So you like 4 first round picks in two years?? That means tons of money to 4 college players who have not earned a penny. It is not all roses and could explain why the Chiefs may not be able to trade out of the #3 pick, to darned expensive for an unknown.

I’m just glad this whole Cutler fiasco is finally over. Maybe now we can hear about something else. I know it’s a big story but too much of anything can get old after a while…..even ice cream.

I read an article not that long ago about Denvers new GM. One of his old bosses really raised questions about his ability to be a good GM and if he was even qualified. If you couple that with the poor history that New England assistants turned HCs have had, Denver looks primed for a MAJOR melt down. NOW we’re talking some BRONCO FOOTBALL!!! Hee Haw Hee Haw!!!

Last year Tyler and some good coaching took what little background he had and he did good !
I think at this point with two and maybe three good QB’s —-?
The team already has some talent on def . thats going together .
At this point a DEF. core like the Ravens had when an opposing team was luckey to get 2 or 3 first downs in a whole game.
Along with this , no movement on 3rd & ONE –no holding calls in the red zone– unsportsman or delay of game stuf . Take this all away from any GOOD team and you can kill them .

I agree that 4 first rounders in the next two years should make fans thrilled with the possibilities. The problem is they don’t yet have much if any confidence in their new coach and GM to make good with those picks. These are two young guys that really have not proven a thing. So to predict that the Donkeys will be good in the next few years is purely a guess. Speaking of guessing, whether or not Cassel will be worth the second rounder we gave up is still just that, a guess.

I disagree that Vick should never have an opportunity to play in the NFL again. This is hopefully a league of second chances. If he gets his act right and can still play at a high level then he should get the opportunity. He has a lot to prove I admit but if he truly is sorry and wants to prove it then let him.

These young guys think that they are invisible and that it won’t happen (get caught) to them.

I think Jared Allen has the right idea. The season is long enough. I would think that he needs the recharging time.

I hope the Bears have a great record this year and I’m not even a big Bears fan. That would mean Denver’s 1st round pick next year is lower. I agree, if Denver drafts wisely they can be a team to reckon with. I’m not sure what they are going to do at QB this year. Go with Orton, if they feel he’s the answer, or perhaps hope that Sanchez slips to 12 and draft him. I guess there is also a possibility they will try and use some of those picks and move up in the 1st round so they can get Sanchez.

yeah i think its a double edged sword kinda thing cause on 1 side we got rid of jay cutler a good young qb but on the other hand they will get 4 first rounders that will probably be good

What nobody is talking about are the 4 first round draft picks the Broncos have over the next two years that can fill a lot of holes. If I’m a Broncos fan I’m happy.
You got rid of a player who didn’t want to be there and got 2 1st round draft picks and a not so bad QB. With all the picks the Broncos have they can do alot of moving and shaking on draft day the AFC West is only going to get better. Watch out for the west by 2011.

Cutler belongs in the windy city. He’s been a lifelong fan of the Bears. McMahan (sp) was the last stud QB Chicago had. If Cutler puts his heart & soul into his hometown team, I am assured the Bears will make the playoffs this year.
These future NFL College draft picks have got to get their act together. If in fact some of these kids have tested positive for drugs, legal or otherwise, it’s like, what the hello were you thinking. In some cases we would be talking like millions of possible future dollars. The NFL has always been strict and forthcoming when it comes to bad behavior. As it should be. They do not take prisoners and all players both Stars & Duds are treated equally.
As far as I am concerned, Michael Vick has no right, “whatsoever” to play on a NFL football field again.

I wonder where all the bloggers that said Hunt should grow a pair are now. In retrospect after the way Pioli has handle the Cassell trade verses the Cutler trade by Denver makes Hunt look like a chip off the old block . Sometimes these bloggers should have too coke on the very thing that they wanted Hunt to grow a pair of .

I find it interesting to see all of the fall out of the Cutler trade, a real soap opera. I’m just glad it’s not us, we have enough other problems. At least we have some players who are learning with this new administration to keep quiet and problems will be taken care of behind closed doors. That’s the way it used to be, and that’s the way it works best. I just don’t believe Cutler is the QB that a lot of people think he is. I’ll take Tyler Thigpen over Cutler any day, given a good QB coach he could be every bit as good, without the poor attitude.
I think this trade of Cutler shows that Pioli knows how to wheel and deal. I don’t think he took advantage of the Pat’s as much as they also wanted to unload Cassel quickly and we were first in line, lucky for us we had connections.
