I agree B in SC. There is a pretty interesting story there about the Franklin release, especially since 5 teams put in a claim for him. Seems like there was some incident(s) that led to his immediate release, rather than shopping him among obviously interested teams to get at least a late draft pick. I hope some ink stained wretch in KC or elsewhere does their job and REPORTS on exactly what happenned and why, rather than wait for Haley/Pioli to hand them the story. They won't, so it's time to go digging.

I don't really care when we play anyone, I am intrigued by the Franklin issue. I just don't buy that he didn't fit the system as reported by Bill Williamson on ESPN. If that were the case, I think he would have already been cut or at least given a chance during OTA's. Besides, I thought there wasn't a system, but they were going to create whatever fit the personnel? It will be interesting to see what info comes out down the road about Franklin. Had to be something else.

This is also why I would be very wary of Maclin from Missouri. Those gimick offensive systems are great in college when you spread out mediocre secondary talent, but get those guys in the NFL with top caliber talent, and they disappear. It's a great way to look much better than you are.

Can you play a division opponent twice (Denver) if you haven't played someone else in your division yet (San Diego)?

Would that be history making if that happened?

Thanks Bob! I like the Mock schedule idea.

MenInRed, Unless the chiefs are that much better this year, I wouldn't say that they have the greatest chance of starting off the season with wins. The NFC East wasn't a chump division last season, nor was the AFC North, I can see the chiefs winning against Denver.

Is it not funny how we laugh at crazy Al and the raiders but he can get a Thanksgiving game (to lose I hope) while Clark (and his dad) are just happy to be in the NFL.

Personally, I love mock drafts. They aren't very often worth the time invested preparing them, but I love the speculation. To me, other than the playoffs, this is the best part of pro-football.
Go CHIEFS!!!

It looks like there are two things that are going to be the same as last year , the address of the stadium and the color of the uniforms .
Not to say - that's not all finial .

So Bob doesn't do mock drafts. At least he told us Who to trust in "Rick Gosselin", but it doesn't come out untel the morning of the draft, Thanks Bob. I do like his MOCK SCHEDULE though, as he states, it does give the Chiefs a chance to come out of the gate with some wins to start the season with and get the Monkey off their backs from the 2-14 season last year. Add that with Pioli's picks and we have:
