There is a pretty interesting story there about the Franklin release, especially since 5 teams put in a claim for him. Seems like there was some incident(s) that led to his immediate release, rather than shopping him among obviously interested teams to get at least a late draft pick. I hope some ink stained wretch in KC or elsewhere does their job and REPORTS on exactly what happenned and why, rather than wait for Haley/Pioli to hand them the story.
