Thank you!

I’ve finally been able to get through all the kind words sent two weeks ago when I wrote about the information that you needed to know. It took me that long because I’d get emotional after reading four or five and just have to stop. What a great group of people that have joined this site. Thank you for caring, your prayers, kind words and encouragement. I can’t express how much it means to us. We do not march alone.

Anita is hanging in there as we go through rounds of meetings with doctors and plans for treatment. She’s one tough lady – she would have to be to put up with me – and her drive to survive is motivating. It’s early in this fight, but we plan to see it through.

Again, thanks.

God Bless, Bob and Anita. We all become connected for various, and unexplained reasons. But yet, we are a family nonetheless. Prayers.

Anita has been in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to your reporting every day but understand that family comes first. I’ve recently dealt with a similar situation. My advice is to look forward and lean on your family and friends.

Bob, I have been out of touch with Chiefs news, and just read about what happened to Anita. After going through this with my wife in late 2010, I know some about what a difficult journey this is. Our thoughts and prayers go to Anita, you and your family.

Bob, this is a lot later than I wanted to respond since you first shared the news with us. Most importantly, though, my family continues to pray for Anita, you, and your family. Consider us part of your extended-extended family. One day at a time.

And congratulations on the new grandchild!
