Snow For Chiefs in Buffalo?

November is here and in western New York with the cold waters of Lake Erie sitting there, snow can fly pretty early compared to many other spots in the lower 48.

The Chiefs had better pack their mukluks for the trip to Buffalo and Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Here is the National Weather Service forecast for the Buffalo area:

SATURDAY NIGHT: Rain showers likely before 3 a.m., than a chance of rain and SNOW showers. Cloudy, with a low around 31 degrees. North wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

SUNDAY: A chance of SNOW showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 37. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

The playing surface at Ralph Wilson Stadium is artificial turf. It’s the first game of the 2013 regular season where the Chiefs will play on the fake stuff.
