Podcasting: Goose’s Football 101 10/30
Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News joins us again for a session to talk about the National Football League. Subjects include the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, PIttsburgh Steelers, the matchup on Sunday between Indianapolils and New England, the unbeaten Tennessee Titans and the Chargers decision to change defensive coordinators. Plus, Goose addresses the decline of AFC West defenses.

Another great talk with Goose. Amazing how bad the defenses in the AFC West are this year. I said it once and I’ll say it again, the Chiefs aren’t out of this thing yet. Denver lost the Bailey brothers and their backup QB, San Diego is the most inconsistent team in the NFL, and Oakland isn’t very good either. If our young players really start figuring it out, and if Thigpen can play like he did against the Jets moreso than like he did against the Falcons, we could win a few division games and be right in the thick of it. It starts against Tampa where we have to play yet another playoff caliber team.
Excellent, concentrated quality content again. Thank you for this Bob.
