Philadelphia – signed OT Michael Bamiro out of Stony Brook where he was ruled ineligible for his senior season. He’s 6-8, 338 pounds with 36-inch arms.


Washington – Redskins TE Chris Cooley announced that he’s retiring after 9 seasons and 116 games with the Skins. Cooley caught 429 passes for 4,711 yards and 33 touchdowns. Limited by injury, the 31-year old caught just 9 passes in the 2011-12 seasons and he was released by the Redskins during the ’12 pre-season and then was re-signed by the team. He will join the Redskins game-day radio crew as well as handling other broadcasting duties.
