San Francisco – claimed WR Charly Martin on waivers from Seattle.

Players released

Dallas – released FB Lawrence Vickers.

Law & Disorder

Detroit – Lions DE Ronnell Lewis pleaded no contest to a pair of misdemeanors that he was charged with in Oklahoma back in April. The incident revolved around a bar fight in Norman where police had to use a taser on Lewis twice before they were able to handle him. Lewis was charged with disturbing the peace and public intoxication. He was fined $400 and given a six-month deferred sentence.


Jacksonville – Jaguars owner Shad Khan said Friday that he had purchased the English soccer club Fulham. No price was given Fulham is a Premier League team that plays out of London. He joins the Glazer Family in Tampa and Stan Kroenke in St. Louis as NFL owners with controlling interest in Premier League soccer clubs.
