MRI Shows No New Injury For Manning

The Denver Post reported early Monday afternoon that an MRI of Broncos QB Peyton Manning’s lower right leg showed no new significant damage to his already sore right ankle.

The newspaper reported that Manning will absolutely play on Sunday against the Chiefs.

The MRI showed an aggravation of his previous high ankle sprain that he suffered nearly a month ago. Manning will likely miss practice time in the coming week, something that happened before the Broncos played the Redskins, but will be on the field Sunday night when the Chiefs visit the mile high city.

It wouldn’t be any fun with out Peyton in there. If you want to be the best then you have to beat the best. We have been playing against 2nd and 3rd tier QB’s pretty much most of the season. I think this game in particular will tell us just how good this team truly is.
