Several have written about the “concentration drill”
and the wind sprints after practice.

I honestly believe that was a big part of the Chiefs issues in the second half of games last season, they weren’t in very good shape!

The author, (I still question weather it’s Gretz actually doing the composing of these threads) but who ever it is, is certainly making an attempt to say that the Pioli/Haley regime is no better than the past idiots of Peterson/Edwards.

Remember Gretz has always been notorious for his undying support of Peterson. Even when Peterson trades away the second best DE in the NFL.

How come Bob says this is like *almost* any other NFL practice, but all other media types and player comments say things are *completely* different than under Herm? Is Bob trying to sweep it under the rug to avoid bashing the past, or are all the others just expecting change and see it as more significant than it is?

Interesting that Taylor isn’t even on the 2nd string o-line at this point. Looks like Haley wants size first at T (Herb is only 6′3″ and 295). Maybe a move to guard is in the works?

I figured it would only be a matter of time before the Chiefs signed Marty Booker. I know the contract hasn’t been signed yet, but I imagine it will be, perhaps not until after the draft. No problems here. Cassel needs receivers who run correct routes and catch passes when they hit their hands. Bowe can learn a lot from Booker as well as Engram.

All of us spend a large amout of time on this site. Many like the “thank” Bob for his efforts over and over again. We feel Gretz has some inside sight into what is happening in a no information organization. All that said, did you notice how many mistakes this site has over and over again? “Bob” seems to have a real issue with dates. Many have asked questions of Bob, but no comments answer them.

I guess my point is we are all Chief nuts, 7/24. The wrong season or nothing going on, it does not matter to us. There should be more accurate info from this site.

Where was Vrabel at during this? He should be there if he is going to be the heart of the defense, getting to know his teammates, is this the kind of leadership he should be promoting??

Hey Bob Can you help us shed some light onthe DOrsey situation, he’s one of our most highly paid players why isn’t he on the field?

I don’t remember him being injured last year, is this just a precautionary measure or is this the “famous leg” that all the scouts were pointing out was a big problem and that Dorsey had major duratibility issues

I believe Theotis Brown’s birthday needs to be corrected. If your date is accurate, that would make Theotis 63 and I’m pretty sure Theotis would take exception to that.

Bob, where was Herb Taylor I didnt see his name on the oline list 1 or 2?

I think it is wrong to play Brian Johnston on the dline, I know he has the size but Jared Allen has size and he wouldnt do to good as a 3-4 DE. Johnston is a pass rusher with speed, he isnt a run stopper he doesnt have a lot of strength, he wouldnt do good holding up blockers.

Great content, Bob. Judging from the Haley quote in the piece, those players who elected not to attend the ‘voluntary’ mini-camp are already deep in the dog house unless they had a gold plated hall pass which, according to myriad reports, most did not.

Trade winds gusting all around Tony G and Waters as a result? I think we’re in for the most lively draft weekend that any of us have seen in decades as it relates to the Chiefs.

There are changes here that will some day be part of a NEW way football, is being seen and done and played.
The Pioli/Haley ERA is going to start and prove that there is a different way !
This is so simple to see, its down to just a matter of the top two guys molding all this , being able to talk to each other , not AT each other .
