btw on savage being the scat back, thats charles, and he can block….with 5 extra pounds however, maybe they feel he can take for carries, I sure hope so, I think we have a chris johnson that we dont use enough.

It’s really nice to hear Tamba making a play from the LB position. I’m rooting for him to make a smooth transition from DE. It’d be nice to keep that 1st rounder as a part of our team, even one making a switch to a different position rather than having another “bust” on the records.

there is no way that williams is beating out DJ. He couldnt even take advantage of the oppurtunities last yr to become a starter.

Savagge’s best 40 time was 4.46 at his pro day at 186lbs. According to the chiefs he is listed at 182lbs. His size/speed is comparable to sproles, but he hasnt played as fast.

I fully expect Kolby to start the season on PUP, while jamaal charles picks up the remaining carries when LJ is not on the field.

I don’t see Savage being like Sproles.

Good to hear the D is blitzing/getting more pressure even if it still early.

Any news on P. Walters? He’s one guy that I want to see step up and make the team.

I think Savage could be the Chiefs little scat back type guy, like the guy in San Diego, Sprols” I think his name is.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Williams beats DJ out, Williams is a “tuff skin”

Between his senior year injury, his on field struggles to date KC and too other questions about him, that Lawrence has more speed than Kaycee’s #6 draft choice in last years draft (Kevin Robinson) may merely translate to ’09s version leaving ‘faster’ than Robinson did…
