Local TV For Chiefs-Titans

The Chiefs announced late Thursday afternoon that Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans will be available on local television. There will be no blackout.

What sort of hocus pocus went into making this happen is unknown. All we can speak for sure is this: the game will be on local TV and there are plenty – read that plenty – of tickets still available.

This doesn’t make sense. I know we’re in a recession but come on KC residences. Boston and Pittsburg are still selling out. I mean how can you spend all those yrs supporting teams with great offense and lousy defense in the early 2000s. And in the 90s supporting a team with Elvis Grabac at QB. We finally have a solid franchise Qb. A good young defense. And probably the most balanced team as far as having good offense and defense since the 60s and show no support. Makes no sense do this town still want a football team.
