Lets hope and pray that they put on a whole lot better showing than they did when they got crushed at Arrowhead 23-7. That was downright embarrasing.

Those of us who read this blog should be very pumped up. It is our turn to demolish Indy in a playoff game. All the better to do it on their home field

Just bought and printed 2 tickets for my son and I. We are very pumped! I can’t believe I just bought Playoff tickets less a year after poison peeohli was canned.

cychief, I hope you and your son have a good time in Indy. That should be exciting.

But don’t forget, win or, God forbid, lose, what a wonderful difference this year is.

I do not see us losing but if things get close Andy might want to send in the backups.

Anybody remember LSU’s “Chinesse Bandits” from the 50′s? Defense special team that went into the game when it mattered. Actually they were the beginning of the end of two way players. But they were exciting. And effective.

And pumped up. And they pumped up the crowd.

After the Chargers game our backups might be pumped.

Interesting tidbit learned from hearing a Sirius interview of the ‘Skins Ryan Kerrigan on Monday, 12/30/13. Pat Kirwan asked him of all the playoff teams the Skins faced this past season, which one impressed him the most?

“The Chiefs were real impressive. Particularly the line play on both sides of the ball. You hear a lot about how good Jamaal Charles is and he is good but their Oline deserves a lot of credit too”, said Kerrigan.

Kirwan went on to say that most NFL observers have dismissed the Chiefs because of their weak early schedule, that they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs etc, but Kirwan wasn’t buying it, going on to state that the Chiefs were a dangerous opponent for anyone (in a manner of words). Kerrigan agreed.

    So, there’s that.

Bob, for those of us who lived through the heartbreaking losses to the Colts in years past are hoping we can return the favor by beating them at their home, in front of their fans, will be sweet. They say revenge is best served cold, but I will settle for a warm serving at Indy!!!! Go Chiefs!!

  • December 31, 2013  - BigJimInWisconsin says:

I agree with you guys. I would really like for the Chiefs to beat the Colts in their house. I think Andy will have them ready. I am so ready for a playoff win after 20 years of failure.

    Go CHIEFS!

And 40+ years of super bowl frustration as a fan …

    Go CHIEFS!

My son and I went to the 2006 playoff game in Indy. Fans were very gracious. Had as good a time as you could given losing. Likely about 10,000 Chiefs fans there and you could really hear “home of the Chiefs” at the close of the anthem.

Do your part to make it even louder this time!

  • January 1, 2014  - cychief24 says:

Dave- we went to that ’06 game also. I agree the Indy fans were nice.
We will be loud, count on it!

A fact that I’ve found to be nicely surprising with is the fans, at their home, are a lot more pleasant then their fans who come to our home.

Maybe it has something to do with 75% of Raider fans haven’t been farther west than Hays and 80% of Cowboy fans have never traveled farther south than Tulsa.

Ahhh…home grown assholes. The really good thing is if we win they leave quietly.
