It All Falls Apart For Chiefs Against Titans, 34-10
From Arrowhead Stadium
It was another chapter in a familiar and disastrous story line for the Chiefs 2008 season.
Unable to generate any consistent offensive attack and unable to stop the other team’s running game, the Chiefs were soundly thrashed by the Tennessee Titans 34-10 on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.
This was an oh so familiar plot for the Chiefs. They were unable to mount any consistent scoring threat under three different quarterbacks. Brodie Croyle returned to the starting lineup, but he did not even last a half, leaving early in the second quarter with a sprained left knee injury that will end his season.
Damon Huard came in and played into the fourth quarter, but he suffered a right thumb injury. He was replaced by Tyler Thigpen who finished out the game and led the team on its only scoring drives.
“Offensively, we’ve got to score points,” said Herm Edwards. “We can’t play the first half of games getting shut out. It puts too much pressure on us.”

The Chiefs had 272 offensive yards, with 91 of those yards coming after the Titans were already up by 27 points. In the first quarter they had 27 yards. In the second quarter the Chiefs had 113 yards. In the third quarter, they produced 10 yards.
“I just felt early in the game they set the tempo being physical and were playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage both offensively and defensively,” said Edwards. “We got behind; that’s not good for us. That puts you in a passing mode and that’s what they want to get you in.”
It was a different story for Tennessee, as the Titans racked up 455 offensive yards and 332 rushing yards. That’s the most rushing yards allowed in a single game by a Chiefs defense in franchise history. It was also a club record for the Titans.
There were three touchdown runs by RB LenDale White, including an 80-yard scoring run, and a 66-yard TD jaunt by rookie RB Chris Johnson.
“They hit some big runs at the end,” said Edwards. “Guys not playing their gaps and that’s kind of been our Achilles Heel from the beginning to right now. We worked on it all during the bye week and thought we had some things corrected, but obviously some players didn’t do what they were supposed to do.”
The Titans got on the scoreboard first, taking possession at the Kansas City 20-yard line after the Chiefs offense went three plays and out. QB Kerry Collins drove Tennessee’s offense 49 yards on 10 plays, but had to settle for a 49-yard FG from K Rob Bironas to give the Titans an early 3-0 lead.
Tennessee added to its lead on a six-play, 53-yard drive with White scoring on a six-yard run. Bironas added the PAT kick to make it 10-0 for the Titans. The big plays in the drive were a 28-yard Collins completion to TE Alge Crumpler and a 13-yard run by Johnson.
When the Chiefs got the ball back, they were able to get their initial first down of the game, as Croyle and WR Dwayne Bowe combined on a four-yard completion just before the end of the period.
As the second quarter began, the Chiefs offense finally started moving the football and pushed it to the Titans 21-yard line on a 17-yard completion from Croyle to Bowe on third down. Unfortunately on the play, Croyle suffered damage to the MCL in his left knee and the post-game prognosis is that his season is over.
K Nick Novak tried a 39-yard field goal that sailed over the left upright but was ruled no good by the game officials.
Tennessee went three-and-out on its next possession. Huard came in to run the offense and immediately the Chiefs got a nice 19-yard run by RB Kolby Smith on first down. They later converted a fourth-and-one play thanks to a Titans offsides penalty. Eventually, the Chiefs had to punt the ball away and the touchback gave Tennessee possession at its own 20-yard line.
From there Collins led the offense on a nine-play, 80-yard scoring drive, with all but 17 of those yards coming on the ground from Johnson and White. Johnson had the big play, a 24-yard run around the right side that set up first-and-goal at the Chiefs six-yard line. Two plays later, White punched in his second TD run of the day, this one from the Kansas City two-yard line. The PAT kick from Bironas made the advantage 17-0 in favor of the Titans.
The Chiefs offense put together a drive near the end of the half, moving into Tennessee territory. The key play was a 28-yard completion from Huard to TE Tony Gonzalez. But Novak’s 50-yard FG attempt hit the right upright and at intermission, the Titans held a 17-0 lead.
The third quarter proved to be a battle for the punters, as neither offense was able to get anything going offensively. The Chiefs managed just one first down in the period and that came on a Huard to Gonzalez 19-yard pass play that moved the sticks.
Tennessee finally was able to pull together a third-quarter drive, after it took over at its own 41-yard line following a 57-yard punt by Dustin Colquitt that came out of his own end zone. The Titans went 31 yards on eight plays, finishing up with a 46-yard FG by Bironas just before the end of the quarter, giving the Titans a 20-0 lead.
In the fourth quarter, White added his third scoring play, when he cracked through the right side of the Titans offensive line and huffed and puffed his way 80 yards into the end zone.
The Chiefs finally got on the scoreboard right after that long White TD run, set up by a 59-yard kickoff return by RB Dantrell Savage. In the end, Novak kicked a 26-yard FG that made the scoreboard read 27-3.
On the next possession, Johnson broke loose through the left side of the Titans offensive line and ran 66 yards for a TD. The PAT kick by Bironas made it 34-3.
Thigpen got the Chiefs first TD in the last eight quarters, when he ran in on a 14-yard scramble with two minutes, 37 seconds to play in the game. Novak’s PAT kick established the final 34-10 score.
Now 1-5, the Chiefs will be on the road next weekend, traveling to the Meadowlands in New Jersey to face the New York Jets. Kickoff is noon.

I guess it makes me a “bad” fan but did it bother anyone else:
1. herm had two weeks to prepare the team for this game.
2 herm is supposed to be good as a def. coach. For three years he has drafted def. players. This game the def gave up 338 yds, the worst in team history, with a def line of herms choosing who cannot stop the run or pressure the passer.
3. The best team won today, ok. But the chiefs are now worse than St.L. Rams, who fired the head coach and have won 2 games since.
It bugs me but is this team on the right path? Where is the player/players to rebuild around? I just do not see it no matter what clark hunt may say from Miami.
Its to bad….Dorsey is a bust…Croyle is a bust….and Herm was a mistake. In the end, Carl had it correct. You have to add a few players…deveop a few…and have a classic coach who knows the game. The draft that was suppossed to turn around the team appears to have failed.
You can’t possibly be serious jim, you can’t call first and second yr players a bust!
Not on a TEAM that plays as, as, lousy as the Chiefs have as a whole.
At some point the COACH has to make an example of some of the guys (such as HUARD) and cut them,.
Benching Johnson was a start, but what about MCncheese, and maybe its time to sit Niswanger, Jones, Hali and do what they have preached since mid summer and start evaluating guys so we know what we have before free agent signing and the draft. But Herm is a dumb ass and just stands pat on the lousy hand HE dealt.
who was the Defensive coaching consultant that was brought in? Didn’t mitch holthus say on the radio?
Didn’t watch or listen to the game. Anybody know?
tmessina,
My thoughts on your points
1. Was the team unprepared? Looks to me like they just got outplayed.
2. Hard to argue with this one, although I still think the LB corps is more to blame than the D-line.
3. The Rams should be better than the Chiefs. They have more talent and more experience. They’re finally playing to their potential.
I have a been a Chiefs fan since they moved to Kansas City when I was a boy. I have been a loyal fan through all the ups and downs over the years. This is the worst! It’s time to make a change now. Fire Herm & Dick Curl and announce the Carl is retiring at the end of the season. Make Gunther the interim coach for the rest of the season. At least in his 2 years as coach he won 16 games! The hire someone like Bill Cowher and pay him what he needs. Bring in GM that can work with him and turn this thing around. If Clark makes decisive decisions, than the fans will stay knowing that things will get better.
John,
I wouldn’t call Dorsey a bust, but so far he’s not playing like a #5 pick.
John,
I agree. I’ve compared this “rebuild” to the Cowboys rebuild in 89. There is a major difference that I’ve noticed. In 1989, Jimmy had NO problem cutting someone on Mondays. I think if Herm is to show he’s serious, he needs to cut Brodie tomorrow. And maybe Huard and McIntosh as well. What would that do? It would show these young guys that he aint messing around. If you aint gonna perform whether it’s because of injury or any other reason, go somewhere else. We want people who WANT TO PLAY AND WIN!
Cannot cut an injured player, union contract.
Put a fork in them, the Chiefs, their done.
It’s a mess from the top down and untel we fix the top nothing will change, starting with Carl/Herm.
Can’t wait tell 2010 I guess, thats when Herm & Carl’s contracts are up.
Thanks for the info Tmessina. I wasn’t sure about that.
That’s right guy he isn’t playing worth a crap, I’m not apposed to any ones benching at this point.(Except our secondary) but they have to have an asterix because FEW teams have really challenged our secondary w/passes. Why would they when you can run the ball down our throats. The D-line is killing our LB’s. When 230/240 lb guys taking on 300 plus pound guys its tuff, especially when we have only one legit. starter at LB (DJ) any way.
I wouldn’t necessarily cut Brodie, he may make a decent backup. That is, until he breaks his neck falling off the bench.
Actually after thinking about it, Jimmy would have cut the guy who was responsible for the QB getting hurt.
Nate Newton eluded to that this week about the Dallas punter getting hurt. “man if that would have happened under Jimmy, someone would have been cut”.
Nonetheless, I for one, think that the Brodie Croyle experiment should be over. I like the guy as much as anyone and I’m sure he’s a wonderful person. But he isn’t going to help the Chiefs win football games.
I sure feel badly for Brodie, the guy just cannot stay on the field.
i feel for brodie to. but why would u draft a guy that had the knock on him coming out of college he was injury prone, seems to me that is why he lasted to the 3rd round. it looks like another incompetent move by herm and company. been a chiefs fan since the dallas texan days and ill be there each week rooting them on but i know a badly coached team when i see one. hopefully dorsey will keep improving id hate to have another ryan sims on our hands
If you have time to waste…watch the defensive line and how they played. Dorsey is a major disappointment…Mcbride and Tyler are not NFL starters. I am a realist I think Albert is the real deal. I think Flowers is the real deal and I like Carr. They won’t win with Herm. The players do not respect him. The games are not watchable. You do not have to win but you do have to compete.
Well it starts with mind set I am not sure if this team believes in Herm Edwards from watching the last two games they have quit on Herm Edwards. The talent is there we need another offensive tackle move Brandon Albert over to guard then start Herb Taylor secondly. On the defense go find a good middle linebacker and maybe another defensive end I like the corners but there is nothing they gonna do sitting 15 yards off the ball going up against somebody like a Randy Moss. But the bottom line this team right now does not believe in Herman Edwards and his stupid little system his got to go and got to go now we have already revamped the entire team you may as well clear the front office too.
It was a tough game against the #1 team in the NFL. Here is what I saw. Herm did replace Mcintosh a few times with Herb Taylor and the qb had the best protection I have seen all year. When Brodie got hurt Mcintosh was in there. His man is the one that hit Brodie high. Niswanger was over matched with Haynesworth and I dont think they gave him much help. Bob relay this to Herm-Get rid of Mcintosh. 2 qbs going down in the same game isn’t good.
Dorsey had 2-3plays where he really looked good then they doubled and tripled him and he didnt do anything. The defensive ends just stunk really bad. They were getting pushed all over the place. Move Hali back where he belongs or let him go. He has some potential just not where he is at. Adrian Jones needs to learn to be tougher. Herb Taylor had sealed off the outside and Jones let them through. I saw a lot of potential when Brodie was playing 9 of 10 for 63 yards. His injury buried us after that it was back to the same old same oh. Tyler Thigpen(Casey Printers jr.) is not an NFL qb find someone who we can depend on. Might try and trade him to the cfl. I’m not angry at this game. I knew it was going to be really difficult for us to win it. I am angry that there doesn’t seem to be any fire in some of our players. Especially the defense!!!
I loved it that the CBS announcers had the guts to say the Chiefs look like a poorly coached and poorly prepared team. THANK YOU CBS for saying what we have seen all year.
Carl came out from under the rock he has been hiding under and told us Larry is under investigation by the NFL for his FOURTH run in with a female. Good move to give him money Carl but not Jared Allen because Jared had character issues…. HUH and LJ doesn’t.
DJ was calling the coaches out today and you know Herm is losing the team as he is blaming the players… sounds a lot like Billy Callahan and we know how successful he was at Oakland and at Nebraska with that approach.
Well Clark, will you still think your two side kicks are doing a good job when there are 45000 empty seats (up from 25000 today) at the Tampa Bay game?
What will Herm and Carl’s excuse be this week…. any bets?
Ray
What did DJ say? It’s good that more and mre players are calling out the Coaching. Maybe that will finally be the thing that finally gets Clark to sit up and take notice of what has to be done after THIS seaon, and not when contracts expire for a smooth transition. The LAST thing this organization needs is a smooth transition hat Carl controls.
I missed the game yesterday. Sounds like I didn’t miss much. Can anyone tell me how #83 Mark Bradley looked?
St. Louis canned their HC after the team quit listening to him. Will we be forced to endure the rest of the season because Clark is blind to the same thing?
At the very least, we need to make some big changes at several coaching positions ASAP. I haven’t seen one of our QB’s look remotely prepared for a game since the Donkeys came to town.
I don’t know how to explain Gunther, since he has had real success coaching the LB’s in Tennessee.
Krumrie, I’m not too sure on yet. The line is so young, it’s hard to pass judgement yet.
Where do you go from here….. We’re obviously at the bottom from what I can tell.
Comments are welcome
I have one thing to say:
If you “play to win the game”, then it’s time for a change. Cowher and Schottenheimer in 2009!
Someone help me here. Isn’t Cowher a 3-4 defense coach? We don’t have the personnel to run that, do we? If not, it would require a complete overhaul of personnel. Is that really a good idea?
But then again, I can’t imagine it being any worse that what we have right now.
Bob, give us an update on the QB situation as soon as you can. I understand Brodie Croyle is done for the year but what is Damon Huard’s status with his hand. What veteran(s) QB’s are out there unsigned (like we would really sign one). What direction are we going to go in with a QB. As much as I was rooting for Brodie I guess his status as our starting QB is over and done with. I do like Thigpen’s potential but I’m not sure he is really ready for the game just yet. He does seem to give us the best shot at being competitive all the same.
Man alive! This 2008 season has seen the Chiefs sail into the proverbial perfect storm of discontent and problems. Problems everywhere you care to look.
Name one area that is NOT a problem at present? Okay, punting qualifies and then there’s…..there’s…..TE? Even Tony G has added to the circus that won’t leave town.
I know all about the virtues of staying the course with the present ‘plan’ but there has to come a moment in time when the ‘plan’ is seen as fatally flawed, gets blown up, and the franchise starts anew, going in a different direction.
Is that time now? Sooner than later? Pre-empting the inevitable? As I see it, those are the key questions and choices to be made by the owner. If I had a vote, based on what’s been seen to this point, I’d suggest getting out the dynamite TODAY.
Alas, I have no vote.
CARLM…
You are right about McNcheese, his man was the one who went high on Brodie. Haynesworth beat Albert on the other side and hes the one who hit brodie low.
On another note…Anybody can be “beat” at any time, it even happens to the best, McNcheese gets beat waaaay too much, Herb taylor in relief did better but he also had 2 false starts.
When Brodie was hurt against New England it was Charles missing the blitz pickup. What a frustrating year. Its kinda like golf, you can have the most terrible round in years but you always hit a shot or two that keep you comming back. If these guys can just start making progress and show flashes it would be much easier to handle, the last two games they havent shown much flashing at all.
Hey all, I didn’t think it was possible, but this team is worse than the one we had last year. To be even we would have to win three more games. Who will we beat? The Jets? The Dolphins? Maybe the Bengals? It doesn’t matter. We are flat BAD. I wonder if Herm will still be clueless as to what to do like he was after the Panthers game? My guess is probably. Did anyone else see all the empty seats all around the stadium yesterday?……it’s happening…..
I agree with chfsfan, the Brodie experiment is over. I disagree with jim because I think Dorsey has actually looked fairly decent in his first few games. I mean he’s still learning. There’s not much he can do with three guys on him. And I don’t care what kind of defense Cowher runs, it wold have to be better than this. I would put Cunningham in the bag of management that has to go. He’s had more than enough time to strike the fear of God into his players. Oh well, Go Chiefs
Nick, I would prefer the false starts to the qauterback getting mangled. I agree with you on the rest. They reminded me of a mighty mites football team playing against an nfl team. I don’t think any of them had a clue what they were doing.
I am loving this.
Every one of these abominations brings us closer to the end of the Carl and Herm era, and the beginning of an era where we can at least dream about being competitive again.
Other Mark, only if Clark Hunt is sane and rational. I’m afraid he’s too tied into the Chiefs way of doing things to do the right thing, but I hope I’m wrong. Carl and herm need to be led out of the building in handcuffs, accompanied by security guards, not running some smooth transition.
Dorsey is NOT a bust….this past draft is still the best in a decade for the Chiefs…just need a change of scenary
Glad to see someone else caught Tasker’s comment about the Chiefs looking poorly coached. I’ve felt that all year. The whole “we just had a guy not filling his gap” comment is just stupid. We play a defense that has one guy between a ball carrier and the goal line? We have too many high draft picks on the defensive side of the ball to be this bad. Let them play. Why sign a guy because he has “good football instincts” if he is only suppose to tie up a lineman? Makes no sense. In case Herm and Gun haven’t noticed…the defense they are running STINKS. Make some adjustments. Why isn’t Boone at tackle? He was in the backfield many times last year. He isn’t cutting it at DE so put in a young kid there and use Boone where he can contribute.
Some of the changes that should be made are so obvious to even a casual fan. These kids that may have some potential are learning how to lose regularly and if something isn’t done soon (see St. Louis), they will run into the Detroit Lions syndrom where it is just expected to lose. This year’s Chiefs is probably the worst team in the NFL in several years. Yesterday was the first time in many, many years that I didn’t even think twice about missing the first half to do something else.
For the Herm supporters: Sorry, but he has never been successful. He rode the coattails of Dungy in Tampa and finished out the Parcells creation in New York. He has now been promoted to the highest level of his incompetence. He obviously deserves a raise.
False starts are fixable, lack of talent is not.
IT FALLS APART FOR THE CHIEFS? IT WAS NEVER TOGETHER!
I know this is off the subject, but can someone tell me why Bob is not on the radio for the Chiefs anylonger. Been wandering that all year and I still do not have the answer1
It’s possible the Chiefs may improve significantly as the season goes on. I doubt it. At the same time, there’s no reason to bring in a different coach in the middle of the year. No coach on the KC staff is equipped to act as interim head coach (in my opinion). Both coordinators have been head coaches before, but it’s unfair to both to give them this team at this point in time. Herm made the mess. He should be allowed to put up with it for the rest of the year.
Contrary to what constantly gets claimed, however, I believe we have some good players. Dorsey is learning and may yet be a game-changing defensive lineman. He shows flashes of what he can do and the learning curve for defensive linemen always seems to be a bit steep. Gonzalez is a pro bowl tight end (still!) and with Bowe, the Chiefs have as good a receiving corps as many teams. Larry Johnson can still run when he has the blocking and Charles is a darned good third down back, especially when it comes to picking up the blitz. Derrick Johnson shows flashes of brilliance and even Page and Pollard have their moments. For rookies, both Flowers and Carr play pretty well. Albert is learning a tough position, but overall, our pass blocking definitely looks better this year than it did last year.
Yes, there are holes, but most of the holes were there last year. People say you can’t fill all the holes in one year, but I say you can try. The Chiefs front office did not try. While it’s fine to claim your team is re-building, with plenty of cap space available, there’s no reason the Chiefs couldn’t have brought in just a couple more players to fill holes for a year or two.
And while everyone seems to agree that the Chiefs couldn’t afford to keep Jared Allen, we could have kept him if we’d signed him when he originally wanted to be signed (back in 2007). He’d stayed clean for a while, long enough that Peterson could have used his two strikes as a bargaining chip to get the deal done for a ton less than what Allen got at Minnesota. Larry’s the one who should have been traded. Slow power backs are easier to replace than pass-rushing right ends who also show a ton of hustle on every play. And for everyone’s griping about Napoleon Harris, he was the Chiefs leading tackler in 2007. Compared to Pat Thomas this year? Every member of the Chiefs secondary has as many or more tackles than Pat Thomas.
The front office has made some terrible personnel decisions and Peterson has managed to offend just about every member of the team at some point. It sounds like he offended Tony mainly be refusing to return his calls at a very stressful time. I’m not a Peterson basher–I believe he’s done a good job in past years–but he’s too near the end of his time in K.C. to be effective. As for Herm Edwards, he’s failed to motivate his team.
The solution is to let Herm coach out the year. If KC fails to turn it around, Hunt has justification for cleaning out the whole mess and starting over. Peterson can stay on one more year to oversee the stadium construction project he started, but someone else could come in to run the team. And KC should hire a good coach this time–not a retread who couldn’t make it elsewhere but who happened to be a good scout fifteen years ago.
Nice piece Glenn Sixbury…..
B in SC, Amen to the “guy not filling his gap” excuse wearing thin. The linebackers, in particular, appear to run “downhill” to a predetermined gap, only to run themselves right out of the play. The result is the “one defender between the ball and goal line” scenario we see over and over. When did we last see a “gang tackle” after a 3 yard gain?
How on earth are there people leaving comments to fire Herm and HIRE Gunther as the interim? Gunther Cunningham should be let go TODAY. ALL of the Chiefs money and picks are on the defensive side of the ball, and the coaches are not coaching or scheming up to the standards of these players.
I would also like to say that I feel so sorry for Brodie Croyle, who it would appear has the worst luck in the history of the NFL. Hope to see him as the 2 or 3 backup next year, and I hope Herm has it in his heart to keep Brodie around as an emergency backup.
Also – Glenn Dorsey IS NOT A BUST. His position is unsexy, and he’s getting double and triple teamed most of the plays. that is a direct reflection on the rest of the line and the ends, who can’t pick up the slack around Dorsey. Hali and McBride have been AWFUL. It’s too bad we had to trade J.A., but we’d have never gotten our tackle of the future (which Albert IS) had we not.
Time to unload Larry Johnson. I’m done with Larry. I don’t roll with hitting and spitting on women. At the end of the season, we’re going to have to eat some serious crow and give him up.
It’s a good possibility that the Chiefs didn’t trade Tony b/c they knew the story with Larry was about to come out, and he’s most likely about to miss some real time. Would’ve been smart to trade Larry while the getting was good… ah, well.
I think this a result of not bringing any kind of leadership veterans to this team.Really Waters is the only so called leader on this team . I wanted this thing gutted but not all the way you should have at least have leadership on offense and defense. Herm is the blame for this performance he had two weeks TWO WEEKS!!!!! to get this turned around I know for a fact that this man knows he messed up during this offseason yeah he did draft fairly well in the draft .But it seems to me he has no control on this football team perfect example did you see I think Pollard and Carr laughing on the sidelines. Laughing at what was going on. I suggest that Herm should go and he should this team is lost . I do not want to hear if you get rid of him now its a big step backwards no it is not. As a owner to this franchise you do not want to see that your players are laughing at their performance . Do it now!!!! Because they are not getting better lack of effort . I think this team is seperated the defense is tired of the offense putting them in awkward positions no long drives to rest this defense, now they do not get a free pass the defense because you still give an effort . Clark you are welcoming back the 70′s and 80′s if you do not act now . This not a step backwards it is a step forward it is not going to make them better if you do this now in firing Peterson and Herm but I can tell you it sends a message to the whole organization and to your fans that my franchise is not a joke .
Also we need to stop this Cowher and Marty talk this is to me is not going happen. Get a fresh new GM and Coach what has retreads has gotten us I mean really . No where …………
Vess,
I saw Pollard laughing on the sidelines, too. It’s hard for a fan to take that when your team is getting pasted.
I coach I like is Steve Spagnuolo, currently DC of the Giants; he’s never been a head coach, and he only has a couple years under his belt as a DC, but he’s got great energy and intensity. He interviewed for the Redskins job in the offseason; I never heard anything about why he didn’t get it.
Here’s another gripe that I’d like to add to an already painful excuse of a professional football team…there are no leaders on this team! Especially on the defensive side. Probably the only exception to my last comment, is T-Gonz. But hey, even someone as talented as he is, can’t play both sides of the ball.
I think one incident yesterday will prove my point. After Johnson busted his long TD run and decided to do his best T.O. impression by banging on the Dipardo Band’s bongo drums…WHERE WERE THE CHIEFS??? I mean seriously…am I the only person in KC that was offended by that? Not so much by Johnson’s actions, but by the utter lack of REACTION from the Chiefs bench. While I don’t condone cheap hits and Oakland Raiders style football, someone should have knocked the holy hell out of Johnson in the end zone after he did that! Take the flag…take the fine! Protect your team and your city’s pride by teaching show-boaters a lesson. You come into Arrowhead and pull a stunt like that…regardless of our win-loss record…and you’ll get smacked in the mouth! Ironically…does anybody remember the fight on the sidelines between KC and the then, Houston Oilers, during the division playoff game? Even punter Louie Aguiar got involved in that figt, and got a shot in!
It’s time to wake boys! You’re paid proffessionals and it’s time to grow up…and grow a pair!
Thanks for the cyber-ear and I now turn the soap-box over to the next contestant!
Jack,
Good point. It didn’t cross my mind until you pointed it out.
As a long time Chief fan, I’m far more upset by who’s standing on the sideline “coaching” the Chiefs than I am by any player who is celebrating a touchdown in Arrowhead.
Jack I remember that game very well, I have it on VHS, and your absolutely right! SOMEONE should have put him on his ass!
