Bob,
Why was Dimitri Patterson cut? It wasn't for one pass coverage play. I remember Herm saying he had about the "best natural skill set" for a corner. Why has he not been brought back?

These are mostly leg injuries . In masonry work you can not wear gloves , or your hands will not stay tough enough to work . My dad a medical surgion in the Army back in the 1930s ( 7th Calavery ) New recurits that got saddle sores were ordered to simpely ride them off . In football theres a lot of non-high level cond. time in off season . Everones different , Thats wy I think some guys are different --like Tony G. Brian Uralacker ,Ray Lewis ---sure they get hert but not weekly . Ive had guys that are extra tough , and I dont know why, that list goes on and on . I dont mean to hint that in time , that someone can remain injury free, in what we did ,I alway told new help that part of it , is cuts and brusies .

This sucks! I can live w/being out a couple weeks but the IR's are killing us!
These guys need to be developing NOW, 5 outta the 6 on IR are guys that imo are at positions that we need to improve at, along w/the 2 that are possibly going to be added McBride sounds like a shoulder separation (lets hope, that shouldn't put him on IR) or collar bone and Johnston (if he tore a calf muscle he IS done for the season)
If herm decides to play LJ, he should let Charles sit. If at all possible I'd like to see them sit the 4 guys w/hamstrings too.
Man! this is almost unbelievable!

ArrowheadMagic

Thanks for the info on Babin. I'd actually rather see them sign Babin than my favorite free agent KGB. Babin fits in more with the youth movement and he definitely has talent. Maybe he can come here and put it all together.

Looks like Jason Babin might sign. He is a DE former 1st rd pick.
http://www.wwmt.com/sports/babin_1355622___article.html/chiefs_join.html

Babin played 16 games in his rookie season for Houston. He gained 63 tackles and 4 sacks for a mediocre rookie season. In 2005, he only played in 12 games, and only got 35 tackles. However, he matched his 2004 sack mark with four, and also forced two fumbles. In 2006, he played 15 games, getting 26 tackles and a career high five sacks.
