Chiefs Swap Out Cornerbacks

From St. Joseph, Missouri

The Chiefs continued to churn the bottom of their training camp roster on Tuesday when they signed CB Semaj Moody and released recently signed CB Conroy Black.

The 5-10, 195-pound Moody is getting his first shot in the NFL. He played in 2012 with the Chicago Rush in the Arena Football League, appearing in all 18 games and leading the team in tackles with 86.5. The South Carolina native also added 3 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries, one that he returned for a touchdown. The 25-year old Moody played his college ball at South Carolina State, appearing in 28 games (2007-10) at receiver and defensive back.

Black was signed last Friday, and he adds the Chiefs to his list of teams he’s had time with before never got on the regular-season field for: Raiders, Lions, and now Chiefs.
