Chiefs Practice Update – December 24

From the Truman Sports Complex

The weekly schedule for the Chiefs was changed up for Christmas, as Andy Reid moved Wednesday’s practice to Tuesday. The players will then have Christmas Day off and then return to work on Thursday.

The head coach said he still isn’t sure how he will use his personnel in Sunday’s game against San Diego. More than likely, Reid isn’t ready to announce anything.

“I’m going to have them practice just like we’re going to play the San Diego Chargers, but at the same time I’m going to work some guys in,” said Reid. “I’ll figure out by the end of the week exactly how I’m going to work it, but they are all going to practice. Every position is going to do their thing.

“Then we’ll just kind of break it up and you know, mix and match.”

Going into Tuesday’s practice, everyone but OLB Tamba Hali was scheduled to participate. Hali is dealing with a sore knee. His availability for Sunday’s game will likely be determined by Thursday when they return to the building.
