Chiefs Open Roster Spot By Releasing Tight End

The Chiefs released tight end Kevin Brock from the active roster on Tuesday.

The first-year tight end had 3 catches for 36 yards while playing in 4 games. Brock was re-signed by the Chiefs after the season’s second game, when starter Anthony Fasano went down with knee and ankle injuries.

Brock played in 4 games, or until Fasano was able to return to the field. In the last 2 games, Brock was a game-day inactive player.

No word yet on who will fill that spot on the 53-man roster.

They worked out TE Jake Ballard recently. I was thinking they might sign him, with S Bradley Mcdougald going back to the P.S. when Sanders Commings returns. We should know pretty soon.

Will be good to see what Cummings brings to the table as the draft is weak looking.

I think we could use some offensive help, RB or WR??
