Chiefs Injury Update – January 7

The season ended Saturday night in Indianapolis, but there were five Chiefs players that saw their season completed before the final seconds by injury.

Here’s an update on where they stand at this point via the Chiefs:

Concussions victims RB Jamaal Charles, WR Donnie Avery and CB Brandon Flowers are improving and working to complete the NFL’s concussion protocol testing

OLB Justin Houston suffered a sprained PCL in his left knee and a bone bruise and his condition was showing improvement in rehab.

RB Knile Davis suffered a knee sprain and a fractured fibula in his left leg. It’s reported he is making progress in his rehab work.

A new injury popped up after the game as WR Dwayne Bowe suffered a sprained foot. Rehab reportedly is going well.

While the season is done for Avery, Davis and Bowe, Charles, Flowers and Houston have the Pro Bowl to get ready for, if they can.
