Chiefs Exit Washington Victory Without New Injuries

From the Truman Sports Complex

The Chiefs enjoyed their 45-10 victory over Washington on Sunday at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

And, they enjoyed that 35-point decision on Monday at their facility in Kansas City, Missouri.

Andy Reid reported no new injuries for the Chiefs from their winning performance and after 13 games, that’s the type of news that puts smiles on coach’s faces.

“Really nothing to mention from this last game as far as injuries go,” said Reid. “There are the 3 injuries from last week.”

That is injured starters LT Branden Albert, TE Anthony Fasano and OLB Justin Houston. All missed Sunday’s victory against Washington. Reid called all three “day-to-day” situations at this point.

Albert is still working to get back from his hyperextended knee, Fasano is trying to get approved to play under the NFL concussion protocols and Houston continues to work on his dislocated elbow.

Which is great news. I hate to be a debbie downer, but did anyone see Kyle Orton play tonight for romo? Impressive! Can’t say as much for Chase yesterday. Just hope he picks up his game. Otherwise, it’s the leagues most expensive clipboard-inator.

    Noticed that also.

Got a feeling Chase will be odd man out after season ends. What do I know ?
