Chiefs Add Offensive Lineman

The Chiefs reserve/future signings have dribbled out over the last two weeks and they added another player on Saturday with the addition of G Ryan Durand.

The 6-5, 305 Durand came into the league as a 7th-round selection by Tennessee in the 2009 NFL Draft. He spent four training camps and pre-seasons with the Titans, appearing in 17 games in August. But most of three seasons was spent on the practice squad; Durand was on the 53-man roster for 11 games in 2010, but appeared in just one, against Dallas on October, 10, 2010. The Massachusetts native spent one game on the roster with Miami in the 2012 season but did not play.

Durand was a three-year starter at right guard for Syracuse.

Bob; Seems to me just looking in from the outside that they are just “adding fringe players” right now. In other words guys that just barely might make the team or practice squad. Maybe thats just typical this time of year. I know its very early at this point. We have almost 7 months yet.
